Wow, I’ve had some amazing finishes this week. I’ve finished all the hand appliqué on my Christmas block of the month quilt and it’s ready for borders once the fabric arrives. I’ve also finished a quilt that is a wedding gift that has taken me a couple of years to do. You’ll have to wait to see this one as I don’t want to ruin the surprise for Julie! It’s another appliqué piece.
So my reward for all that finishing was to play once again with some Swoon blocks. You can see my first one here. I made two blocks at once this time – much easier to do more than one at a time because once the assembly line is going it’s easier.
I am using aqua and cherry for this quilt. This block is Tula Pink Prince Charming and Amy Butler Lotus (it looks more orange in the photo):
